Vanilla Pound Cake

1 cup of milk (soy milk, 2%, skim, etc)

3 cups of flour

1 cup softened butter

4 eggs

1 ½ cups of sugar

2 tsp Villa Vainilla Pure Mexican Vanilla Extract

1 tsp baking powder


Heat oven to 350 ° F. Mix the sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in a large bowl and beat with a mixer until smooth. Turn to low speed to add the flour, the baking powder and the milk one at a time and give time to mix each addition.

Spoon the batter into a 10 in. pan cake and bake for 70 min. or until a pick comes out cleans. Let it cool and invert into a cake plate. 

You can garnish with some berries and mint leaves.
